Here at Flagstaff General Store, not only are we PROUD to be a locally owned & operated store but we are honored to have 30+ local artists featured in our little store. Isn't it great that we can bring quality, locally made products to Flagstaff, Az for all to appreciate and share?! We think so! We like to think that local shouldn't just be local but also helping to support LOCALS too! From beautiful stained glass wall art, mirrors and frame by Red Canyon Glass (Janet makes really unique items) to copper wind chimes & hand burned growth charts by M&B of Winslow and the signs by Illuminate Joy (Misti has so many cute signs), or Muddy Raven's unique and amazing pottery (Katherine has a lot of talent), to Heather Meyer Designs custom hand stamped jewelry (see what we have here at the store or order a custom name necklace) and Father Wolf Designs hand made, hand poured silver and grape vine dream catchers (very col). Our Industrial bar cart, & tables are also hand made (at great prices) as well as frames and wall racks by Hawkeye Studios of Flagstaff, custom ink printing by Piper printing and ACE printing both of Flagstaff. We proudly sell many Arizona craft beers and Arizona wines. Knot Crazy wood creations and jewelry, handmade cards, Flagstaff estate items and antiques too. Refurbished, repurposed and new items await your shopping experience as well! FGS has a little bit of everything. Let's not forget that Father's Day is just around the corner! Just Arrived!! Premium Turkish Towels. Beautiful, soft, compact and light weight. Also a perfect gift!
Used in the Turkish baths for centuries, 'Peshtemal' is a traditional Turkish towel, absorbs water as fast as towels, dries five times quicker and are extremely lightweight and easy to carry in your bag, luggage or storage.
Peshtemals do not only provide practical, cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions (it consumes less cotton in production, also water and detergent), but also an elegant look as trendy beach towel (sand free!), pareo or sarong. Basically perfect for everyday use at the gym, sauna, spa, yoga centers, hotels, travel, pool, beach or simply on boat. Last but not least, it is unisex.
Our Peshtemals are hand woven from natural famous Turkish cotton with hand-knotted tassels following a centuries-old technique. They come in a huge array of colors, all playful and reminiscent of Spring.
